For heavy pianos (>1.35m) or grand piano transport, we will prepare a separate offer.

Transporting a grand piano is more complex. A grand piano must be professionally disassembled (legs and pedals removed), transported upright on a special "grand piano dolly," and reassembled at the destination. Please request a customized quote for this service.
Zurich is known for its narrow stairwells. If transport through the stairwell is not safe, we will organize transport via a... Furniture lift or (in extreme cases) a external crane, to safely transport your instrument through a window or over a balcony.
Does my piano need to be retuned after the move? Yes, we strongly recommend this. The movement and change in humidity will cause the instrument to go slightly out of tune. Wait 1-2 weeks for the piano to adjust to the new environment, and then call your piano tuner.
What if I have an elevator? If a sufficiently large elevator (freight lift) is available that can accommodate the piano, transport becomes simpler and often cheaper. In our quotes, we often treat this as an EU transport.
