Can I store a piano temporarily? Furniture storage short-term or long-term.
A piano needs to be tuned after every move due to the vibrations and changes in humidity. Wait one to two weeks for the instrument to adjust to the new environment. After that, your piano tuner can make the final adjustments.
Do not place the piano directly against an exterior wall, in front of a radiator, or in direct sunlight. A stable room temperature of around 20°C and a humidity level of 40–60% are ideal. This will help keep your instrument in tune for the long term.
Does my piano need to be retuned after transport?
Yes — wait 1–2 weeks until the instrument has adjusted to the new climate. Then call a piano tuner.
What if I have a freight elevator?
If the piano fits in the lift, transport will be easier and often cheaper. We will treat it as an EU transport in the quote.
Do you also transport grand pianos, harpsichords, or organs?
Yes. Please specify the model in your inquiry. We will prepare a separate quote for wings.
What if the stairwell is too narrow?
Then we'll organize the transport via a Furniture lift or in extreme cases a crane — all included in the offer.
Can I store the piano temporarily?
Yes. We offer safe Furniture storage — short-term or long-term, without notice.
How is my piano insured?
Through our transport insurance and business liability insurance. Report damages within 24 hours — we'll take care of everything.
